On April 21, the 3,000-ton full-slewing crane built by Nantong Zhenhua Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd. for Jiangsu Dayang Marine Equipment Co., Ltd. successfully completed the final assembly of the slewing chassis, herringbone frame and boom at the Nantong Base Wharf.
It is reported that the rated lifting capacity of the crane in this project is 3,000 tons, and it is arranged on the left chord of the stern of the hull. The crane is powered by the main power station of the hull. Working mechanism, all winches and slewing mechanisms of cranes are driven and controlled by AC variable frequency.
It is reported that the crane can realize the full swing lifting function of 2400 tons while guaranteeing the fixed stern lifting function of 3000 tons. The maximum lifting height of its main hook is 115 meters (on the deck surface), and the maximum working range can reach 85 meters. After the crane is completed, it can meet the offshore installation and construction operations of various types of offshore wind turbine foundation pipe piles, jackets, towers, fans, blades and other products.
